We talked at length and made a decision that on this trip we were not going to return to MGM after so many years there, but would try a different hotel hopefully looking for another 'Melinda Marshall-type' connection. No welcome in our room when we arrived, nobody there to speak with before we left town, just no 'Melinda touch' on our last trip.
Pretty much felt like we were going it alone with no casino host. We spent a half a day unraveling show ticket reservations we were told were in place and found had not even been made, no real guidance and hands-on help like we get when she is there. We were so sad to see her go and tried our best to have an enjoyable time with the girl that was assigned to us in her absence last year.
Heard that Melinda has returned to the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
